Online Reputations, Hostgator, Sitesell, 1and1 and the "Blue Thumb Award"

Michael Barrett Introduces The Barrett Blue Thumb Award...

Online reputation is changing and morphing almost daily.

As we morph into a more interactive internet that rewards a positive reputation based on the number of recommendations by visitors - to your website or to your offline brick and mortar business - what other people genuinely think and say about their experience as your reader, website visitor, as a customer in your restaurant or as a client buying a new kitchen directly impacts your business.

The number of Facebook likes, Google +'s, Tweets, online reviews or citations increasingly has a greater impact on the perceived value of what you have to offer. As business owners, it makes a big difference if you have 30 positive reviews versus 6 good ones and  4 negatives. And this system is evolving rapidly and a big part of the reason is mobile technology.

Those of us who have not taken what other people say more seriously in the past need to start doing so. Stake your claim now while you can - otherwise don't whine a couple of years from now when you wonder what hit you.

In accordance with my own version of a POOR customer service award I am casting my vote via by designating the first recipient of THE BARRETT BLUE THUMB AWARD to 1and1 hosting co.

Poor customer service in a competitive industry reflects directly on management. How seriously you take that idea as a manager and how much you pay attention to your customers matters more every day.

This is not just a gloom and doom warning, it's also an unprecedented opportunity to grow your business and leading to a dominant position in your market niche in the not too distant future.

By the way, give me a thumbs up would you... Thanks.

Eat a Rainbow...

Michael Barrett talks about rainbow and how to eat a rainbow.
Rainbows are magic to every child and they're magic for adults when we allow ourselves to let the magic in.
Rainbows are like unicorns only they're everywhere.
You can find rainbows in the sky, at the beach and in the kitchen.
How do you eat a rainbow?

Michael Barrett Gratitude Family...

This Thanksgiving week was a big deal for me.

It was the first time I saw my youngest daughter - Sarah - since 2007, my son - Lucky - since 2009.

And for the first time ever that I got to meet my 7th grand child, Lyla Rose and her father (my son in law) Jonathan Bell.

What a joy to spend quality time and see the amazing people in action and learn a bit more about who they are and how they think and what they are becoming.

I am truly grateful for all the I have and the wonderful children that are part of my life.

What a joy and what a great time for realization and understanding.

Millionaire Mind

Now is a good time to develop a Millionaire Mind.

In today's economy we rarely get good news and for the most part money is no fun. We don't have enough fun. We hear how much money money managers on Wall Street embezzle, how many $ trillion dollars the S&P 500 dropped in the last month, that the nation is bankrupt, etc...

How often do we hear about how many people had fun making money? About how good and healthy it is to be wealthy?

Money and abundance are portrayed as evil. Fact is nobody broke ever gave me a job or helped me financially? The only people who ever helped me financially were people with money.

We have this whole money thing backwards socially and spiritually.

Being rich is awesome. We can help more people and we can live a better life. Poverty sucks.

If you want to have a good time you should attend Harve Eker's Millionaire Mind 3 day intensive seminar. There are a number of them sceduled throughout the Us befire the end of 2011, and they won't cost you anything.

I have 11 eleven times.

Here's a new post on the Millionaire Mind Intensive.

I AM Michael Barrett, Healthy Boomer and Creator of Healthy Wealthy Boomer and I Love the MMI.

To Be Healthy Are Eggs a Healthy Breakfast Choice?

Dr. Niva Shapira of Tel Aviv University's School of Health Professions says that all eggs are not created equal. Her research indicates that when hens are fed with a diet low in omega-6 fatty acids from a young age -- feed high in wheat, barley, and milo and lower in soy, maize and sunflower, safflower, and maize oils -- they produce eggs that may cause less oxidative damage to human health. That's a major part of what determines the physiological impact of the end product on your table.
Her findings were published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.
Cholesterol oxidation: an industry standard?
Eggs high in omega-6 fatty acids heighten cholesterol's tendency to oxidize, which forms dangerous plaque in our arteries. Dr. Shapira's research shows that eggs laid by hens with healthier feed can lessen oxidation of LDL (low density lipoprotein), the body's "bad cholesterol."
To be healthy physically good quality fuel is a requirement.
Eating local farm fresh eggs is a healthy component of a good diet. But are all eggs created equal?
Mainstream corporate farming and major standard grocery chains take the position that all eggs are the same - just like they say all corn is the same.
The facts may be considerably different than we - the consumers - are being led to believe.

Is Congress Smoking Crack – They Want More Money...

America Is Not A Nation of Village Idiots

(Flash back to the Woody Allen movie, Love and Death.)

You’d never know it if you assume that the media and the Beltway pundits actually tell the truth.  They think we’re stupid and we let them get away with it. And the fact is they should pointing the finger at Congress – not the people in this country. We are allowing these people to label us and treat us – the citizens of the greatest country in the world – as pushovers, mamby pamby, overweight, middle of the road, spoiled, selfish, naughty children that are lazy and don’t have the initiative or brains to make our own decisions.

There is nothing further from the truth.

We are responsible for our lives and we are capable and generous. This is a good thing not a bad one. This is rooted in FREE WILL which is actually the only REAL lowest common denominator in existence, not ignorance as politicians and the Media would have us believe.
